IMPRESSIONS FROM THE WHITE NILE

Exhibition from12th July-1st September. The Spinnaker, Oban, Argyll, Scotland.

A exhibition of photographs and paintings which will take you on a journey down the banks of the White Nile. The collection of pictures documents the source of the Nile, Lake Victoria, Uganda. It will take you through the war torn north of the country: into the arid Semi-deserts of Southern Sudan: across the huge expanse of the Sudd swamp: past the frontlines of a fifty year conflict: over the Northern Sudanese Sahara and finally into the oasis of Egypt and to the Sea. The images of accompanied by descriptions and stories of the transitions along the river banks. The exhibition is open to the public free of charge at the Spinnaker restaurant, George Street, Oban, Argyll, Scotland.
